Các ngành STEM: Science – Technology – Engineering – Mathematics

Việc chọn học các ngành STEM (hay còn gọi là bằng cấp trong lĩnh vực khoa học, công nghệ, kỹ thuật và toán học) sẽ mở ra nhiều cơ hội nghề nghiệp tại Hoa Kỳ – hoặc bất kỳ nơi nào khác trên thế giới.

Các ngành STEM nâng cao cơ hội lấy OPT

Đối với nhiều sinh viên quốc tế mong muốn làm việc tại Mỹ, theo học một bằng cấp về các ngành STEM là một trong những con đường tốt nhất cho sự nghiệp lâu dài, nâng cao cơ hội khi đăng ký OPT và là một cách để đạt được các kỹ năng quý giá mà các nhà tuyển dụng hàng đầu tìm kiếm.

Ngoài cơ hội việc làm ngày càng tăng, sinh viên F-1 tại Mỹ theo học các ngành STEM cũng có thể tận dụng các chương trình này để kéo dài thời gian lưu trú tại Mỹ.

Sinh viên quốc tế theo học các ngành STEM đủ điều kiện để được đăng kí vào chương trình Đào tạo Thực hành Tùy chọn – OPT, cho phép họ làm việc tại Hoa Kỳ trong tối đa 12 tháng.

Một lợi thế nữa khi là sinh viên các ngành STEM là sau đó có thể yêu cầu gia hạn OPT của mình trong 24 tháng.
